Marketing Manager

Reports to The Directors

Based in Southwark, London

Hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days remote)

To create, develop and execute the brand and marketing strategies. To work with the Directors and agencies to deliver team objectives and online sales targets.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with a strong creative vision and experience in the FMCG, health, food, or wellness sector, with ambition to support a small business to achieve its full potential.

This role would be ideal for somebody currently working within a team, who is looking for a good challenge and more responsibility.


No two days will be the same. It’s a really exciting time to join KIN Nutrition, but we are moving fast, and there is a lot to achieve. As such, the role will include a broad spectrum of marketing responsibilities.

  • You will take ownership of the overall plan, brand, customer segmentation and reporting
  • Generate creative content ideas and create campaigns across social, email, web and PPC
  • Plan the marketing strategy, create assets, execute and report across all digital channels
  • Plan, source/create assets, write copy and schedule the social grid
  • Develop and maintain quality social campaigns
  • Create assets for social, ads, email and web using Photoshop (or similar tool)
  • Build, send and optimise regular campaigns and set up automations via Mailchimp
  • Manage affiliate content, campaigns and relationships
  • Manage retailer marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the PR strategy (executed by PR agency)
  • Plan and execute paid search and paid social
  • Maintain the website (executed by the dev team)
  • Develop the internal brand book and brand guidelines
  • Manage the advertising budget
  • Utilize Google Analytics to track campaigns and work with the Founders to improve cost attribution and marketing reporting
  • Monitor online sales using Shopify reporting and implement marketing activities to meet targets
  • Build and manage the marketing calendar
  • Organise photoshoots and events


  • Define KIN’s different customer segments, their needs, and how we meet them
  • Develop the marketing strategy and plan with the Directors and oversee the execution, defined by an annual budget
  • Pull together the “brand world” for KIN and build the “brand assets” over time to increase brand equity, ensuring that all comms and visual assets are consistent and in line with the brand guidelines
  • Build and deliver the creative, affiliate and digital marketing strategies - defining channel usage and activation plans to drive both customer acquisition and loyalty


  • Manage agencies and freelancers to deliver day to day activities
  • Test, track, report and analyse results against KPIs, presenting key learnings from insights


  • At least 3 years’ marketing experience, specialising in email, web, social and affiliates
  • Must have excellent knowledge and experience of Mailchimp/Klaviyo, Shopify, social platforms, and photoshop (or a similar tool)
  • Must have experience in email marketing; Building, executing and testing campaigns and automations
  • Have an understanding of Shopify reporting, and understand how to read and interpret Shopify sales data
  • Have an understanding of paid social and Google Ads
  • Have experience in FMCG, health, food, or wellness sectors
  • Have experience in leading and executing and managing marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Excellent use of English, both written and oral
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience with working with a small business or in a business with a strong focus on brand
